Critical acclaim is great. But an honest compliment from a client is better.
We had very high expectations of our photographer as they would be the only one chronicling our wedding; we did not want a videographer there as they are often very obtrusive and our event was designed to be very intimate and personal. Jay exceeded all of our expectations. He was fun and very easy to work with. His photos are wonderful - we'll never miss a video. In fact, there are many photos that we were surprised to see because we didn't even know he was there at that moment. We wanted Life Magazine. Jay gave us that and more. It was an honor to have him as part of our wedding.

People are always curious to know who we, as wedding photographers, would hire to photograph our wedding. After clicking on countless of websites, galleries, and blogs, our search for the perfect photographer ended with Jay. We could tell right away that he was knowledgeable technically and focused artistically. Our wedding would be mostly unscripted and being well aware of Jay's great documentary work, we knew we could trust him to beautifully capture both the obvious and the subtle moments of the day. He delivered great candids throughout the day. We really appreciated Jay's personality, he was friendly and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We also had so much fun on our engagement session and absolutely loved the shots Jay got.

We loved working with Jay. Our pictures are stunning and we've gotten many compliments on them. We chose not to have a videographer and I'm very happy that we chose to spend the money instead on gorgeous still shots. Jay was extremely flexible and an absolute pleasure to work with. Jay also did the pictures for our cocktail party the night before the wedding so he was with us for much of the wedding weekend and we loved having him there. He fit right in with our very fun group of family and friends. The most important thing of course was the quality of the pictures and Jay did not disappoint; they're truly beautiful.

Jay did an amazing job capturing distinct moments and emotions throughout the day.
