At Jay Premack Photography, we’ve found that trust is the foundation of almost every great photo. It just so happens that an engagement session is a perfect way to get comfortable with Jay and build trust before your wedding. Plus, it’s a great excuse for you to hang out together for a few hours. (As if you needed one.)

Our engagement sessions are low-key, relaxed and fun. This is the photographic prelude to your big day, and we’re excited to be a part of it.

What to expect

To tell the truth, we basically just tag-along on what would be a normal outing for the two of you. While we’ll give you some direction, we work hard to blend in so you forget we’re there. With the camera out of the way, the two of you can lose yourselves in the moment and interact naturally.

Location

Sometimes, there’s a lot of concern over finding “the perfect place” to take your engagement photos. But try not to worry about that. It doesn’t matter where we go; what matters is that you have fun together. Your connection – not the background – is the key to a great engagement session. So, consider a location that means something to you as a couple (maybe it’s the place you first kissed or went on your first date). Do an activity. Have a picnic. Go for a walk. No matter where we go, we’ll have a great time and get fantastic photos.
